PM-Y45-P-C3 Panasonic Industrial Automation Components

Panasonic PM-Y45-P-C3 is a compact U-Shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is connected via a pre-wired 1m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable with bare flying leads. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64 and is constructed with a PBT housing. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-Y45-P-C3 is equipped with two digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA), supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operations, and has a response time of 80µs (0.00008 s). An orange LED serves as a visual position indicator, and the sensor has a current consumption of 15mA (0.015 A). It is capable of detecting objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
