About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7957-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It functions as an EtherNet/IP scanner and CC-Link IE Field slave, featuring vertical or flat installation positions with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. The device includes 8 configuration switches, 8 IP configuration switches, and 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made of aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 CC-Link IE Field connectors, 1 x RJ45 LAN connector for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7957-F supports CC-Link and Ethernet/IP communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA current at 24Vdc (200mA typical). Storage temperature ranges from -40 to +85 °C. The gateway facilitates speeds of 1Gbit/s for CC-Link IE Field and 10/100Mbit/s for Ethernet, and is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
