AB7944-F HMS Networks Industrial Automation Components

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7944-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation between PROFIBUS and PROFINET-IRT networks. It features a PROFIBUS slave and PROFINET-IRT Fiber Optic device configuration, allowing for vertical or flat installation with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration is manageable via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. This gateway is equipped with 2 x node address switches (x10 / x1), 10 x LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status, and supports a supply voltage range of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.). Its dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, housed in aluminium/plastic, and it offers connections through 2 x SC-RJ fiber optic network LAN connectors, 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector. The AB7944-F has an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection, is mounted on a DIN rail, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C. It consumes 400mA (max) or 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc, can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C, operates at speeds of 100Mbit/s for PROFINET and up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS, and tolerates 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
