Anybus by HMS Networks AB7943-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. This gateway functions as a CANopen slave and PROFINET-IRT Fiber Optic device, facilitating communication between different industrial networks. Connection interfaces include 2 SC-RJ fiber optic network LAN connectors, 1 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 USB connector for configuration. The AB7943-F offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. It supports the CANopen and PROFINET communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C for operation and -40 to +85 °C for storage. The current consumption is 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc. Data transmission speeds are 100Mbit/s for PROFINET and 10kbit/s to 1Mbit/s for CANopen slave. The device is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
