Anybus by HMS Networks AB7887-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It features a vertical or flat installation position with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration is manageable via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. This model integrates an Interbus CU slave and LonWorks slave, equipped with 1 service pin, 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status, and a baud rate jumper. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, housed in aluminium/plastic. Connection types include 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for serial RS-232 configuration, 1 x 5-pin plug-in connector for LonWorks, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector and 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for Interbus in/out, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are INTERBUS and LONworks, with an ambient air temperature for operation ranging from -25 to +65°C. The current consumption is 400mA maximum and 200mA typical, with an ambient air temperature for storage between -40 and +85°C. Speed capabilities are 500kbit/s to 2Mbit/s for INTERBUS and 78kbit/s for LonWorks, under 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
