Anybus by HMS Networks AB7814-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator gateway. It supports installation in both vertical and flat positions and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration is manageable via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. This device combines a DeviceNet scanner and an Interbus CU slave, equipped with 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status, and includes a baud rate jumper. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is constructed from aluminium and plastic housing. Connection options include a 5-pin plug-in connector for DeviceNet, a 9-pin D-sub male connector and a 9-pin D-sub female connector for Interbus bus-in and bus-out respectively, a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and a USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are DeviceNet and INTERBUS. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65°C, with a current consumption of 400mA at maximum and 200mA typically. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The speed capabilities are 125kbit/s, 250kbit/s, and 500kbit/s for DeviceNet, and 500kbit/s to 2Mbit/s for INTERBUS. It is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
