About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7692-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator. This part facilitates vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides. It allows for I/O configuration via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The design incorporates an EtherCAT slave and Modbus RTU slave, equipped with 13 configuration switches and 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability and resilience. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 100Mbit/s full duplex EtherCAT, 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for serial RS-232/RS-485 Modbus RTU, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7692-F supports communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Modbus RTU, and RS-485, and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. Its current consumption is 400mA at maximum and 200mA typically. The device is suitable for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C and can operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The speed supported is 100Mbit/s for EtherCAT and 12kbit/s to 57.6kbit/s for Modbus.
