About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7550-F is a gateway designed for IIoT applications, part of the X-gateway IIoT series. It functions as a PROFIBUS master with an OPC UA-MQTT Ethernet dual-port cut-through switch. The device supports vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. It includes 10 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status. The AB7550-F operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for PROFIBUS and RS-232 configuration, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7550-F supports OPC UA and PROFIBUS communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65°C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA current at 24Vdc (200mA typical). It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C and can operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The Ethernet speed is 10/100Mbit/s, and the PROFIBUS speed can reach up to 12Mbit/s.
