Anybus by HMS Networks AB7527-F, part of the X-gateway series, is a protocol translator gateway designed for vertical or flat installation with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. It features an EtherCAT slave and POWERLINK device functionality, configurable I/O via USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. The gateway is equipped with 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made of aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 100Mbit/s Ethernet (half duplex), 2 x RJ45 connectors for 100Mbit/s EtherCAT (full duplex), 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and 1 x USB connector (X4). It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7527-F supports communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Ethernet, and POWERLINK, and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. It has a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc, with a storage temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The device supports speeds of 100Mbit/s for both POWERLINK and EtherCAT, and is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
