About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7502-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It functions as an AS-Interface master and a PROFINET-IRT device, featuring Ethernet dual-port cut-through switch, 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status, and one on-board configuration button. The gateway allows I/O configuration via a USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software and supports installation in vertical or flat positions with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made of aluminium and plastic, and connection options include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet (full duplex, fixed), 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for serial RS-232 configuration, 3 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connectors for AS-interface/power, and 1 x USB connector. It offers a degree of protection of IP20 NEMA 1, is designed for DIN rail mounting, and operates with AS-interface and PROFINET communication protocols. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25 to +65°C, with a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical). It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C, operates at speeds of 10/100Mbit/s (PROFINET) and 167kbit/s (AS-interface), and can withstand 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
