About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7314-B is a gateway designed for CAN communicators within the sub-range of CAN-based communication. This part supports configurable CAN protocols 1.0 / 2.0A and 2.0B, with a baud rate ranging from 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s. It is built to withstand industrial environments, featuring reverse voltage protection, short circuit protection, and galvanic isolation on the sub-network. The installation altitude capability reaches up to 2000m. It is designed to handle immunity and emission for industrial environments, including electrostatic discharge protection of +/-4kV, electromagnetic RF fields resistance from 10V/m at 80MHz-1GHz to 1V/m at 2.0GHz-2.7GHz, fast transients of +/-1kV, surge protection of +/-1kV, and RF conducted interference of 10V/rms. Emission levels are maintained at 40dB from 30MHz to 230MHz and 47dB from 30MHz to 1GHz. The design incorporates CAN + ControlNet with 2 x configuration switches (A / B), 6 x LED indicators for various statuses, and supports a supply voltage of 21.6-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). Dimensions are H120mm x W27mm x D75mm, with a plastic housing made from ABS / PC. Connection types include 2 x ControlNet channel connectors, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CAN, 1 x 2-poles plug-in connector for power, 1 x USB connector for the sub-network, and 1 x NAP connector. It offers a degree of protection of IP20 NEMA 1 and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocol includes CAN and ControlNet, with an ambient air temperature for operation ranging from -25 to +55°C. Current consumption is 300mA (max) and 100mA (typical) at 24Vdc. It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C, with a humidity tolerance of 5-95% RH (non-condensing). The speed capabilities are 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s for CAN and 5Mbit/s for ControlNet.
