About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7328-B is a gateway designed for CAN communicators within the sub-range name of CAN communicators. This part functions as a CAN-based communicator/gateway with configurable CAN Protocol options including CAN 1.0 / 2.0A and 2.0B. It supports a baud rate range from 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s and adheres to physical standards for CAN environments, featuring reverse voltage protection, short circuit protection, and galvanic isolation on the sub-network. The installation altitude is specified up to 2000m. It is designed to withstand immunity and emission standards for industrial environments, including electrostatic discharge protection of +/-4kV, electromagnetic RF fields resistance from 80MHz to 2.7GHz, fast transients and surge protection of +/-1kV, RF conducted interference resistance of 10V/rms, and emission levels of 40dB to 47dB across 30MHz to 1GHz. The design includes a CAN + PROFINET-IRT Ethernet dual-port with 6 x LED indicators for various statuses, and it operates on a supply voltage of 21.6-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). Dimensions are H120mm x W27mm x D75mm, with a plastic housing made from ABS / PC. Connection types include 2 x RJ45 connectors for Ethernet, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CAN, 1 x 2-poles plug-in connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for the sub-network. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are CAN and PROFINET.
