About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7329-B is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed as a protocol translator gateway. It features a configuration port via USB (note: USB to CAN cable is not included), and on-board configuration switches for CANopen node address and baud rate settings. This part offers galvanic isolation on both CAN and BUS/Ethernet sides to enhance communication security. The CANopen baud rate is adjustable from 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s. It is designed as a CANopen master and a PROFINET-IRT device, including an Ethernet dual-port cut-through switch, three configuration switches for CANopen on the side, and six LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status. The supply voltage required is 21.6-26.4Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Dimensions are H120mm x W27mm x D75mm. Connection types include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet (full duplex, fixed), 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 x 2-poles plug-in connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for sub-network connection. It has an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are CANopen and PROFINET. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and has a current consumption of 300mA (max) and 100mA (typical) at 24Vdc. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C and operates effectively in 5-95% relative humidity (RH; non-condensing). The speed capabilities are 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s for CANopen and 10/100Mbit/s for PROFINET.
