About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7300-B, part of the X-gateway series, is a gateway designed for protocol translation between CANopen and EtherCAT networks. It features a USB configuration port, though a USB to CAN cable is not included, and on-board configuration switches for setting the CANopen node address and baud rate. The device offers galvanic isolation on both the CAN and BUS/Ethernet sides to enhance network integrity. It operates as a CANopen master and an EtherCAT slave, equipped with 3 configuration switches for CANopen on the side, and 6 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status. The AB7300-B requires a supply voltage of 21.6-26.4Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has dimensions of H120mm x W27mm x D75mm. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 100Mbit/s full duplex EtherCAT communication, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 x 2-poles plug-in connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for sub-network configuration. It features an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection, supports DIN rail mounting, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C. The current consumption is 300mA at maximum and 100mA typically. For storage, the ambient air temperature range is -40 to +85°C. The device supports CANopen speeds of 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s and an EtherCAT speed of 100Mbit/s, with a humidity tolerance of 5-95% RH, non-condensing.
