About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A312CV W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage for this sensor ranges from 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages of 200Vac and 220Vac. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312CV W/30 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. Its shape is rectangular, and it includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type). The sensing distance is 16mm, with a visible red light color, a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s, and operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The wavelength of the light is 650 nm.
