Banner Engineering SLPE25-690 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for hand detection with a resolution of 25mm. This unit, serving as an emitter alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) for connection, and its dimensions include a protective height of 690mm, a net width of 28mm, a net height of 689mm, and a net depth of 26mm. The SLPE25-690 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The safety light curtain has a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 7m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. It is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication.
