Banner Engineering SLPE14-270A is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit, serving as the emitter alone, is encased in a clear anodized aluminum housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) for its connection type. The protective height of the device is 270mm, and it comes in a gray housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLPE14-270A is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring its durability against dust and water ingress. The net dimensions are 28mm in width, 270mm in height, and 26mm in depth. It offers a sensing distance from 10cm up to 7m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. The response time is quick at 10.5ms. For outputs, it is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication.
