Banner Engineering SLLR40-1400P8 is a safety light curtain from the LS series type 4 safety light curtains, designed for arm detection with a resolution of 40mm. This receiver unit is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, featuring a yellow housing color. It is pre-wired with a 300mm pigtail that terminates with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The protective height of this unit is 1400mm, with dimensions including a net width of 36mm, a net height of 1402mm, and a net depth of 45mm. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. The SLLR40-1400P8 offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and IP67, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It features a 40mm beam spacing/pitch and provides a sensing distance between 10cm and 12m. The light curtain emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a response time of 13.3ms. For connectivity, it includes 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), 1 x digital output (24Vdc; 100mA; sourcing/PNP transistor) for CSSI status output, 1 x digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc; 30mA) for EDM input, and 1 x digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc; 30mA) for scan code input.
