SLE5-PIR-Q7 Description
Banner Engineering SLE5-PIR-Q7 is a programmable photo-electric slot/optical fork sensor designed for single-layer/multi-layer detection. This sensor features a green LED to indicate power ON and an amber LED to display the output state, along with a TEACH mode for easy programming. It is housed in aluminium with thermoplastic lenses and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for connectivity. The SLE5-PIR-Q7 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various environments. The sensor's slot shape has a passageway width of 50 mm and a height of 40.4 mm, with a net depth of 64 mm. It provides one digital output via a PNP transistor and operates with infrared light at a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time of the sensor is 0.04ms, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
