SLE5-NIR-Q7 Description

Banner Engineering SLE5-NIR-Q7 is a programmable photo-electric slot/optical fork sensor designed for single-layer/multi-layer detection. This sensor features a green LED to indicate power ON and an amber LED to display the output state, with a TEACH mode for easy programming. It is constructed with an aluminium housing and thermoplastic lens, ensuring durability. The SLE5-NIR-Q7 comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for straightforward installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various environments. Its slot shape has a passageway width of 50 mm and a height of 40.4 mm, with a net depth of 64 mm. The SLE5-NIR-Q7 features one digital output (NPN transistor), operates with infrared light at a wavelength of 850 nm, and boasts a rapid response time of 0.04ms. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
