S183E W/30 Description

Banner Engineering S183E W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series, designed with a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as an emitter alone and is housed in a thermoplastic material with a polycarbonate lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The S183E W/30 operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. It has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, a sensing distance of 20m, and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm. The thread size for mounting is M18.
