Banner Engineering Q40SP6LP W/30 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic material, ensuring durability. It belongs to the Q40 DC series and offers a sensing distance of up to 6 meters with a visible red light source at a wavelength of 680 nm. The Q40SP6LP W/30 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile application use. It has a quick response time of 3ms / 0.003 s and is powered by a supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). This sensor is designed with a rectangular shape and offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6P rating, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments.
