About the product

Banner Engineering PVD225 W6IN-800776 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for diffuse/retro-reflective sensing modes, modified specifically for automotive applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature of +50°C and features a net height of 15 mm. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 5-pin M12 connector. It has a 100mm array length and offers a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2. The supply voltage required ranges from 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc being nominal. Its rectangular shape is constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic clear window and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. The net width and depth are 30 mm and 138 mm, respectively. The sensing distance is up to 2m in retro-reflective mode and 400mm in diffuse mode. It emits light in green and red colors, with wavelengths of 525 nm and 625 nm. Additionally, it includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed).
