Banner Engineering M18TUP6EQ is a non-contact Infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter belonging to the M18T series. This sensor features an enclosed plastic optical lens and operates in TEACH mode. It is designed with a stainless steel 304 housing, ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) push button housing, Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push button, and acrylic light pipes, ensuring durability and resilience. The M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C. It is suitable for ambient air temperatures during operation from -20 to +70 °C. With an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, it is well-protected against dust and water ingress. The M18TUP6EQ offers 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for alarm signaling, with a quick response time of 75ms / 0.075 s.
