About the product
Banner Engineering M18TIP8Q is a non-contact Infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter belonging to the M18T series. This sensor features an integrated optical lens and operates in TEACH mode. It emits infrared light and is designed with an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. The housing is made of stainless steel 304, with the push button housing constructed from ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) and the push button itself from Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV). The integrated lens and light pipes are made of acrylic. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. The M18TIP8Q offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, ensuring its durability in various environments.
