M18TIP14 Description

Banner Engineering M18TIP14 is a non-contact Infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter, part of the M18T series, designed with a Germanium lens and TEACH mode functionality. It features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a stainless steel 304 housing, ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) push button housing, Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push button, and acrylic light pipes. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C. The sensor is suitable for ambient air temperatures from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. It provides 1 x analog output (4-20mA) and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for alarms, with a response time of 75ms / 0.075 s.
