About the product
Banner Engineering M18TB6EQ is a non-contact infrared (IR) temperature switch/sensor belonging to the M18T series. This sensor features an enclosed plastic optical lens and operates in TEACH mode. It has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a housing made of stainless steel 304. The push button housing is constructed from ABS / Polycarbonate (PC), with a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push button and acrylic light pipes. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The M18TB6EQ operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C. It is designed to function in ambient air temperatures from -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring its durability in various environments. It features an M18 thread size and provides digital outputs through 1 x PNP transistor and 1 x NPN transistor, with a response time of 25ms / 0.025 s.
