About the product

Banner Engineering M18SP6FF100QPMA is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the M18 series, designed with a background suppression system. It utilizes infrared (IR) light and is encased in a stainless steel housing with an acrylic lens and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It is chemical-resistant and operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). The sensor can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP69K NEMA 6P. It features both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, has an M18 thread size, and a sensing distance of 100mm. Additionally, it provides 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
