RU50U-S18-AP8X-H1141 Description

Turck RU50U-S18-AP8X-H1141 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU50U series featuring a 20° sonic cone diffuse mode front sensing design. This sensor is equipped with ultrasonic sensor TEACH-by-wire functionality. It has a housing made of LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer), with a sensing face composed of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), and Epoxy. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -20°C and +50°C. This sensor is rated with a degree of protection IP67 and comes in an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. It features 1 x digital output (20-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a sensing distance of 50-500mm. The current consumption is 50mA under no-load conditions, and it has a maximum switching frequency of 9.6Hz. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it has an M18 thread size.
