RI-12HA4T-4A1000-12M23 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-12HA4T-4A1000-12M23 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange with torque stop mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange with torque stop optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 12-pin M23 Multifast male connector and belongs to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection of IP67. The supply voltage required is 5Vdc, and it supports a 300kHz pulse frequency. The encoder is constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It utilizes the RS-422 communication protocol and has a 5/8" hollow shaft bore. The digital outputs include 1 x digital output (RS422 output with inverting signal; 5Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. It can handle a rotational speed of up to 6000rpm (mechanical limit), with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 1000ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 40mA (no load), and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
