RI-10SA1R-2B25-6MIL Description
Turck RI-10SA1R-2B25-6MIL is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" square flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft square flange with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 6-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector and falls under the Type RI-10 series. It has dimensions of a 2" casing diameter, 3/8" shaft diameter (D3/8"), and a 7/8" shaft length (L7/8"). With an IP67 degree of protection, it supports a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nominal) and can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. The encoder is constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. It offers 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 25 pulses per revolution (ppr). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
