LTX8E-R10-LU0X3-H1151 Turck Linear Position Sensors

Turck LTX8E-R10-LU0X3-H1151 is a magnetostrictive linear position sensor from the EZ-track series, designed with a raised-face and an aluminium housing and rod. It features a cylindrical shape with dimensions of H46mm x W46mm x D399mm and a 10.3mm diameter rod. This encoder operates with a supply voltage range of 7-30Vdc, nominally at 12Vdc-24Vdc, and consumes 40mA of current. It is pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor offers a stroke length that includes a 2" null zone, a 2.5" dead zone, and an 8" measurement span, with an analog output of 0-10Vdc at 16-bit resolution. It boasts a measurement accuracy of 16-bits resolution, equivalent to 0.004mm / 4μm linear resolution, and a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. The device is capable of operating and being stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C and -40 to +105 °C, respectively. It is protected against reverse polarity and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, suitable for pressures up to 340bar / 5000psi permanently and 680bar / 10000psi short-term. Additionally, it features a visual position indicator with tri-color diagnostic LEDs.
