BC5-QF5.5-AN6X2/S250 Description
Turck BC5-QF5.5-AN6X2/S250 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-QF5.5 series, featuring a Qpak housing with top-sensing capabilities designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is constructed with a PP (Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, along with a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has a rectangular body that is 5.5mm thick and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The maximum switching frequency is 100Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor features one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 5mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
