PULS XT40.362 is a power supply unit part of the X-series, designed to convert AC to DC power with a semi-regulated 25% power reserve. It features a DC-OK relay contact output and operates on a supply voltage of 3x432-528Vac (440Vac / 480Vac / 500Vac / 525Vac nominal; 47-63Hz), with a turn-on voltage of 3 x 390Vac and a shutdown voltage of 3 x 355Vac. The unit is housed in an aluminium casing, measures W96mm x H124mm x D159mm, and uses screw-clamp connections for installation. It is rated for a current of 26.6A at 36Vdc and is designed for DIN rail mounting in a 3-phase (3AC) network. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25 to +70°C. It is not suitable for parallel operation to increase output power but supports 1+1 redundancy for higher system availability. The unit is resistant to back-feeding loads up to 41.1V, has an efficiency of 0.955 (at 3x480Vac input), a start-up delay of 350ms, and a rise time of 40ms (70ms with 27mF load capacitance) at nominal input. The fixed output voltage is 36Vdc with a 700mV turn-ON overshoot, a hold time of 2.6ms at 3x480Vdc input, and power dissipation/losses of 45.2W at full output load. Its electrical durability is rated at 55000 hours (at 40°C; 26.6A output; 3AC 480Vdc input), with higher durability at reduced loads or temperatures. The output stage capacitance is 11100µF, and the ripple is 2000mVpp (20Hz...2KHz; 50Ω).
