PULS UB20.241 is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) control module from the UB-series, designed with an external battery and a green status LED. This module features a DC/DC UPS control mechanism, encased in an aluminium housing, and utilizes screw-clamp connections for secure installation. It measures W46mm x H124mm x D127mm and operates on a supply voltage range of 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The rated current is 20A at 22.5Vdc, with a capability to support 30A in buffer mode for less than 5 seconds at full output voltage. In normal mode, Output 1 can deliver 25A, and in buffer mode, it can deliver 20A/30A (720W for up to 5s). Designed for DIN rail mounting, it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The current consumption is 2.1A with a 24Vdc input, and a maximum of 2.3A. It supports a DC network type and includes visual position indicators for Ready, Buffering, Inhibit, and Replace Battery statuses. Protection functions include output overvoltage protection with typical 32Vdc and maximum 35Vdc. It allows for the construction of a system with higher output current using 2 DC-UPS, 2 individual power supplies, 2 battery modules, and 1 decoupling module. The output voltage in buffer mode is selectable between 22.5Vdc, 24Vdc, 25Vdc, and 26Vdc, with an efficiency of 0.99 at 24Vdc input. The rated power is 600W at 24Vdc and 480W/720W in buffer mode, with power dissipation/losses ranging from 1.9W to 4.8W depending on the output current. Ripple is maintained at 120mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω. Electrical durability spans from 440,000 hours to 1,244,000 hours at 25°C, depending on the output current and operating temperature.
