Pilz PILZ-632382 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This receiver part of the robust type operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 600mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 604mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. This safety light curtain offers a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 9.7ms with beam coding and 42.3ms. The device is suitable for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
