Pilz PILZ-632331 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1650mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. With a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal), it supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35mm and a depth of 40mm. The sensing distance spans from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maxed at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 11.6ms/0.0116s with beam coding and 22.3ms/0.0223s. The device is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
