Pilz PILZ-632330 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 229 mm. This robust type receiver part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. It offers a protective height of 150mm and is rated with a degree of protection IP65, suitable for various industrial environments. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5 W for the emitter and 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The unit's net depth is 40 mm, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. It includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and offers response times of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms otherwise.
