Pilz PILZ-632323 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the robust type operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 900mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections and falls under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection of IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 904mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m with infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It includes 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 8.4ms with beam coding and 15.2ms. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
