Pilz PILZ-632266 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type emitter part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632266 can accommodate up to 50m of cable length and has a net width of 35mm and a depth of 40mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The unit also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 9.7ms with beam coding and 22.3ms otherwise. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
