Pilz PILZ-632262 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type emitter part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 750mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 754mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Additionally, it includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and features a response time of 7.8ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it is designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
