Pilz PILZ-632222 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 604 mm. This robust type emitter part of the PSEN opII3H sub-range features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With a protective height of 600mm and an IP65 degree of protection, it is well-suited for challenging environments. The supply voltage requirement is 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and PC front screen, it is designed for durability. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 35 mm and a net depth of 40 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time varies between 7.2ms with beam coding and 15.2ms, offering a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
