Pilz PILZ-632135 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 300mm across an operating range of 10m to 55m. This emitter and receiver pair, part of the PSEN opII4B sub-range, features a robust design with a net height of 1204mm and a protective height of 1200mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device is equipped with a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, indicating a dust-tight and water-resistant construction. The safety light curtain is powered by a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features a net width of 35mm and a net depth of 40mm, with a maximum cable length of 50m. The light source is an infrared LED (IR) with a wavelength of 850 nm. Additionally, it offers two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The housing is made of aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability and longevity.
