Pilz PILZ-632134 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 150mm. This robust type emitter part only features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. With dimensions including a net height of 229mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, it is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms. The degree of protection is IP65, ensuring durability in various environments, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
