Pilz PILZ-632131 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 300mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4B sub-range and features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 900mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With a net height of 904mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, this safety light curtain is designed to cover a sensing distance from 10m to 55m. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a power consumption of up to 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The light curtain emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm and includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. It features a quick response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without, ensuring rapid detection of objects within its range. The device is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
