Pilz PILZ-632123 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 170mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. This model, part of the PSEN opII4B sub-range, features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It includes an emitter and receiver pair, each connecting via a 5-pin M12 connector. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632123 supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 15m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver (OSSD outputs), a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding, and 11.7ms otherwise. The unit's dimensions are 1204mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 50m. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70°C.
