Pilz PILZ-632120 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 170mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4B sub-range and features a robust type design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 750mm and overall dimensions of 754mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 850 nm, a sensing distance of 0.2m to 15m, and is equipped with two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The device has a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without, ensuring timely detection of hazards. It is designed with an IP65 degree of protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
