Pilz PILZ-632084 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 900mm. This robust type light curtain features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. With dimensions including a net height of 904 mm, a net width of 35 mm, and a net depth of 40 mm, it is constructed from an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and PC front screen. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It provides a sensing distance operating range of 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 12.3ms / 0.0123 s (with beam coding) and 42.3ms / 0.0423 s. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
