Pilz PILZ-632050 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1800mm. This robust type light curtain features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. With dimensions of 1804mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and supports a maximum cable length of 50m. It has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maxed at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Additionally, it features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s with beam coding and 91.4ms / 0.0914 s. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
