Pilz PILZ-631149 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection with a resolution of 14mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 720mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. The connection is facilitated by 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. Classified under the Slim sub-range, it has dimensions of 720mm in height, 15.4mm in width, and 32.6mm in depth. The degree of protection is IP65, suitable for various environments. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of aluminium, with die-cast zinc alloy end caps and a PMMA front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 20m and has a sensing distance operating range of 0.2m to 6m. The light curtain uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a power consumption of maximum 1.6W for the emitter and 4.2W for the receiver. It features 72 beams with a 14mm beam gap, offers 2 x digital outputs (500mA) from the receiver (OSSD outputs), and has a response time of 13ms for cascading and 20ms. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
